Not only can you earn Ðiscovery Miles for your Dial-a-Bed purchases, you can also spend your Ðiscovery Miles at Dial-a-Bed. As a qualifying Discovery Bank client, you can get from 5% to 15% off when you shop at any Dial-a-Bed store and online at www.dialabed.co.za, as we are a Ðiscovery Miles retail partner.

What is Miles Ð-Day?

Ordinarily, qualifying Discovery Bank clients are eligible for up to 15% off when they spend their Ðiscovery Miles with certain retail partners, including Dial-a-Bed in-store and online purchases.

Customers get a 5% discount for each of the following Vitality programmes that they have activated:

• Vitality Money = 5%
• Vitality Health = 5%
• Vitality Drive = 5%

This means a maximum 15% off your Dial-a-Bed shop, if you have all three Vitality programmes.

On the 15th of each month, Discovery Bank will double that to up to 30% discount, for 24 hours only (from 00:00 to 23:59), when shopping with your Ðiscovery Miles.

Make sure that they have downloaded the latest version of the Discovery Bank app to get the discount. Vitality Health and Vitality Drive members need to have a qualifying Discovery Bank product and activate Vitality Money to qualify.




How do I know what spend discount I qualify for?

Make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version of the Discovery Bank app and check the “Ðiscovery Miles” Spend tab in the app. There you'll see the automatic 5% to 15% discount you'll qualify for every day of the month when spending Ðiscovery Miles. On the 15th of each month, this discount will be doubled to 10% to 30% for 24 hours.




How do I use my Ðiscovery Miles in-store?

Generating a voucher for an in-store purchase

1. Log in to the Discovery Bank app.
2. Scroll down and tap on your Ðiscovery Miles balance.
3. Tap on Spend.
4. Tap on Pay in store.
5. Enter the amount in Rands and select Generate voucher.
6. The QR code or WiiCode will display and must be presented to the cashier.
7. You’ll receive confirmation of your transaction.



How do I spend my Điscovery Miles online?

1. Complete your online shopping at www.dialabed.co.za.
2. At checkout, select Ðiscovery Miles to pay for your purchases.
3. Log in to the payment platform using your Discovery details.
4. Your up to 15% discount will be applied automatically to your purchase during checkout.

When checking the total, remember that ordinarily, the Rand value x 10 would give you the Ðiscovery Miles value. The Ðiscovery Miles value that you're actually shown as being charged will be up to 30% lower than that total, depending on the discount level you're eligible for.

You can now spend your Discovery Miles on a variety of products available on Dial-a-Bed.

Discovery Miles is Discovery’s one rewards currency that you can earn for getting healthy, driving well, and spending responsibly.

It’s easy to pay with your Discovery Miles

1. Browse Dial-a-bed

Choose items you would like to buy in the usual way, adding the items to your cart.

2.Choose Discovery Miles

Go to ‘checkout’ and select to pay with Discovery Miles. Click ‘pay now’.

3.Log in securely

You’ll be redirected to a secure Discovery Miles page, operated by PayU. Log in with your Discovery Miles username and password. You will be prompted to add the one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone.

4.Pay using Discovery Miles and Rands

On the next screen, select the amount of Discovery Miles you would like to use to pay for your order. Your payment amount will show on the left.

Note: you can pay the full amount of your order with Discovery Miles. Or, if you don’t have enough Discovery Miles, you can pay the outstanding amount with your Discovery Card or any Visa or Mastercard credit card by completing the details in the credit card section.

5. Note your order confirmation number

After you confirm the payment, you’ll be directed to the Dial-a-bed order confirmation page, showing your order number. You will also get an SMS confirming the amount you spent at Dial-a-bed. Your purchase will soon be ready!

Note: if you haven’t successfully paid with Discovery Miles, Dial-a-bed will automatically cancel your order after five days.

Earn Discovery Miles from your first swipe

You do not need to activate Discovery Miles. Once you get your qualifying Discovery Card and activate it, we will automatically open your Discovery Miles account for you. You can start earning Discovery Miles from your first swipe.

If you’re still using your Discovery Card, issued under the banking licence of FirstRand Bank Limited, you will need to activate Discovery Miles for a yearly linking fee.

What Discovery Miles can’t pay for

Discovery Miles are unfortunately not available for:

1. Products on pre-order: please order these separately using your Discovery Card.

2. Orders under R20.
